Here you can see that it was an advantage to be in the truck so we could be at their height. Joe approaches....

Nearing the end of our adventure, Joe is "cheek to cheek" as Sabo reaches for the camera! He has been known to eat almost anything, including windshield wiper blades.

As Sabo wanders away, we all wish our time with him was longer.

Here is a female ostrich. On our trip we learned that the female sits on the eggs during the day, and the male at night, hence their coloring to blend in to the background.

Here you can see the antelope, a giraffe, an african stork and a gazelle, all gathered in a common area.

This is truly remarkable because they have gathered many species of animals together that normally would never see each other. They are from North, East, and Western parts of Africa.

Here is an Eland antelope with the Montu roller coaster in the background. Right after our visit with these animals, we then had an exciting ride on this coaster.

Very close to the truck came a group of Grevy's Zebras. The guide mentioned that the zebras rarely approach the truck.

Here are some Addax, next to the zebras. These are desert animals with light colored fur for both camouflage in the desert sand and also to keep the animal cool.

These Addax are actually endangered. There are aproximately only 200 in the wild and another 90 kept under human care. This "ends" our Serengetti Safari trip.

After our Serengetti Safari and riding the Montu, we then boarded the train. We had seen most of the animals, however here are some Wildebeest. These were the same animals that charged the gourge in The Lion King.
