Erika is applying the first coat of Chopin Blue to the walls in the study. This is over the two coats of primer already on the wall.

Joe had to paint over the "Sam was here." Sam showed up on the door step and completely surprised us! This was the extent of the painting that Sam did, however.....

Sam helped out with lots of other jobs, like taking the doors off. We decided to remove the doors not just because it was easier, but also because whoever did the last painting job painted over all of the hinges, so they needed to be replaced.

This is what our kitchen ceiling looked like once we started to chip off the peeling paint before repainting. We found instead several holes covered by flimsy patches. We decided to have the entire ceiling replaced.

Here is Shoshanah pouring the Flagstaff paint for the Master Bedroom. Shoshanah spent lots of time helping us during the painting process.

Here is the start of the first coat of Flagstaff. It looks like a warm rosy beige.

Painting around the edges was a very time consuming job because there were so many....

And also tiresome on the arms. Here is Erika painting the edges in the Master Bedroom.

The ladies paint the doors. The ladies were: Erika, Marge, Shoshanah, Karen, and Jennifer, Erika's friend from work.

Watching paint dry in Erika's study. Here you can also see that the window shades were removed. It took another 2 months before we replaced them.
